I knew Tom as a brother of Sigma Nu at Midwestern State. He always wanted what was best for the chapter and never hesitated to lend a hand wherever he could. Tom was great to have a conversation with and you could see the love and compassion he carried with him. He will be missed

Joining Sigma Nu has changed my life in many ways. And that is all thanks to Tom. Tom’s effort, time, and more has been showcased in the chapter’s success throughout the years. Being a new member and meeting him for the first time helped me feel a lot more welcomed and that we had someone who cared about us. Even as an Alum, Tom continuously gave support, advice, and more to us when needed and we could not have been more blessed to have Tom. A great man, brother, and I am honored to have my life cross paths with him and the incredible role model that is him.

Donna,
I have not seen or talked to you in many years, so as a reminder, I took a cake decorating class from you a long time ago!
My sympathy and prayers for comfort for you and your family now and the many days ahead. I didn't know your husband but I feel I do after reading his obituary. What an amazing life and love you shared.
Sincerely,
Diane Myers Karr

My time knowing Tom was short, but Tom didn't require much time to teach you about his history and personality. Tom was a brother of mine through our shared fraternity. I am proud to have known Tom and get the chance to listen to him teach us of some history of both our school and fraternity and beyond. I know Sigma Nu was an integral part of Tom's life I know we will all miss Tom at our annual reunion banquet. I send my thoughts and prayers to Tom's family. I pray for God's comfort upon you all. Dear Brothers and Friends, This week we lost a great person from our fraternity. Sigma Nu was a challenge to Tom and he filled the roll with perfection. Without Tom, Sigma Nu would no longer be an active member of the fraternity of men on MSU. He and he alone saved Eta Upsilon more than once by taking over a failing chapter and turning it into a viable addition to MSU. As a friend, he was the best. Even though being German, he reminded me that Poland was and will be a part of Deutchland. The Polish National Anthem starts with the words "Poland is forever ours!" He said it was a German expression. I will miss his friendship and his sense of humor. God Bless you my friend. You will not e forgotten. To Donna and family, please accept my sincere sympathy for the loss of this great man. He will always be in my thoughts and prayers as will you. God Bless.
