Angela Joy Echols-Griffin-Grantham Sept, 7 1971-May 13, 2024.
Angela Joy Griffin was born in Seymour, Texas to Bill and Judy Echols. Angie, as most people called her, spent most of her life in Seymour and the surrounding area before finally settling down in Vernon, Texas with her husband Jason Grantham. He was the love of her life and they married in 2013 with her helping to raise his two sons Alex and Ethan.
Angie was a homemaker and she loved every moment of caring for her family and extended family. She was a mother and grandmother first in her heart. Her children John and Angelica were her world which grew even bigger when her son John Echols and his wife Arienna brought into this world her grandbabies Jace and Ava. She loved and relished being a grandmother to them and would tell you that they were her reason for each day being a blessing.
She grew up with a house full of siblings that she loved deeply. She is survived by her brothers Gary Echols of Wichita Falls, Rusty Hulcy of Cleburne, James Hulcy of Seymour, and Dale Hulcy of Electra, her sisters Pennye Ord of Vernon and Kimberly Glass of Seymour and their spouses and multiple nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by both her parents, her beloved daughter Angelica Juarez and her brothers Scotty Echols and Jesse (Don) Hulcy.
At the end of her days Angie passed from this world surrounded by her family in her sleep in a room filled with love.
