Billy Joe Laney, age 93, of Seymour, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 in Seymour.
Memorial services will be held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. David Warren, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating.

Bill was born November 14, 1924 in Seymour, Texas, to W.J. and Carrie Dial Laney. He married Glenna Ward on June 29, 1944 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on April 23, 2015.
He was a custom home builder in Wichita Falls for many years.

He is survived by a grandson, Brady Ward Laney of Round Rock, Texas; a granddaughter,
Brandii Laney of Arlington, Texas; a sister, Edna Edwards of Wichita Falls, Texas, and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Ward Laney on March 2, 2010.
