Charles Reed Morris, Jr. age 67, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Red Springs Baptist Church, with Rev. William Cody Craig, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Henson Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Reed was born September 20 1948 in Seymour to C.R. and Peggy Holmes Morris.
He attended Seymour Schools, graduating from Seymour High School in 1967.
After graduation he attended Eastfield College and North Lake College and then worked for Safeway for many years. In recent years he had been employed as
an Agency Relations Consultant for National TaxNet. He was a member of the Red Springs Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sisters, Vicki Talley and husband, Clifton of Seymour, Texas, and Chris Morris of College Station, Texas; one brother, Rusty Morris and wife,
Diedra of Allen, Texas; his nieces and nephews, Charlotte Brown and husband, Bill, Lorie Stafford and husband, Rusty, and Keith Talley, all of Seymour, Texas,
Ashley Edwards and husband, Brian of Katy, Texas, Anthony Brown of College Station, Texas, Russ Morris and Katie Morris, both of Allen, Texas; and five greatnieces and greatnephews.

Visitation will be held at 6 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, or to the Red Springs Baptist Church.
