Claire Lorraine Weeks, age 82, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in Seymour. Memorial Funeral Mass will be held at 2 P.M. Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Mrs. Weeks was born July 28, 1934 in Woonsocket, R.I. to Wilfred Theodore Jolicoeur and Antoinette Lafrenieae Jolicoeur. She married Joseph Bernard Weeks on September 21, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1993. She was a switchboard operator and was a Catholic. While living in Tuscon, Arizona she volunteered at Sun Sounds, reading to the blind, Top Dog, was a Candy Striper at St. Joseph's Hospital, and was president ot the Neighborhood Association for over 20 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Cathleen Lohman and husband, Carl of Seymour, Texas; and Carolyn Bertschy and husband, Kenneth of Tuscon, Arizona; one son, Robert Weeks and wife, Pamela of Vail, Arizona; one sister, Rosanne Moffett of Rhode Island; five grandchildren,
Ronald Bertschy, Audra Wright, Carl L. Lohman, Barbara Mallette and Christopher Weeks; and seven great-grandchildren, Lyndon and Harris Wright, Carl Lee and Aubrey Lohman, Autumn and Kane Bertschy, and Abbie Mallette.

She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Robert Bertschy in 1995, and her sister,
Janet Lamoureux in 2010.
