Claude Cal Young, 80, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016 in Seymour, Texas.
Memorial services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with A.B. Martin officiating.

Claude was born July 17 1935 in Baylor County, Texas to Claude B. and Margaret McFarland Young. He was a lineman and troubleshooter for Texas Utilities for 35 years, retiring in 1990. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea.

He married Jimmie Jetton on July 29, 1978 in Holiday, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Young of Seymour, Texas; 2 daughters,
Kelly Mitchell and husband, Frank of Burleson, Texas, and Angela Huckaby and husband, Rex of Pitkin, Colorado; 2 sons, Jody Young and wife, Katy of Iowa Park, Texas, and Wade Clark and wife, Susie of Maud, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren,
Matthew Osburn, Brenn Young, Hadley Young, Cody Clark, Cheyenne Smithson,
Chelsea Turner, Callie Smithson, Audrey Clark and Emily Bell; 6 great-grandchildren, Olivia, Lucas and Lillian Clark, Aiden Turner, Jayden and Ryan Bell; and a brother, Joe Young and wife, Rita of Seymour, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Bob Young, and a sister,
Judy Graef.
