Collette Young, 67, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 in Seymour. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. David Warren, pastor of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Collette was born May 30, 1948 in Seymour, Texas to Milton Rudell and Dorothy Latham Holden, and had been married to Mike Young. She was in the manufacturing field and was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Suzette Gwinn and husband, Matt of Seymour, Texas; a son, Shannon Brown of Odessa, Texas; two sisters, Phyllis Holden of Seymour, Texas, and Patricia Long and husband, Robert of Jacksboro, Texas;
five grandchildren, Amber Brown, Dustin Brown, Ethan Gwinn, Garrett Gwinn and
Brynnon Ragain; three great-grandchildren, Cambry Crow, Amia Brown and
Sophia Brown; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by a brother, Doug Holden.
