Darrell Norris Morgan, 83, passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at his residence in Georgetown, Ky. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Sunday, February 22, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Seymour, with A.B. Martin officiating. Interment will be in the Henson Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Morgan was born January 5, 1932 in Red Springs, Texas to J.R. and Frances Smith Morgan. He married Dixie Margaret Felder on September 14, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and had been an auditor for the IRS. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seymour.

He is survived by his wife, Dixie of Georgetown, Ky.; his daughters, Tammy Ward of Shallowater, Texas, Sharla Ryan and husband, Glenn of Laurel, Maryland, and Carla Hagerman and husband, Rick of Georgetown, Ky.; grandchildren,
Whitney Ward of Lubbock, Tx. Dean and Caitlin Hagerman of Georgetown, Ky.,
Tobee Hagerman of Georgetown, Ky., Branden Ryan of Laurel, Maryland, and Morgan Ryan of Laurel, Maryland; great-grandchildren, Braxton Ward of Lubbock, Texas, and Sawyer Hagerman of Georgetown, Ky.; a sister-in-law, Bobbie Morgan of Seymour, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
