Dorothy M. Hayley, 93, passed away December 19, 2017 in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Russell Roberts, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Hayley was born September 24, 1924 in Dawson, Texas. She married D.R. Hayley on November 5, 1950 in Wink, Texas. He passed away August 11, 1998. She had been a nurse's aid, was a Baptist, and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxilliary.

She is survived by a daughter, Zonette Hayley and husband, Alan Winston of Overland Park, Kansas; a son, Rick Hayley and wife, Devyn of Weatherford, Texas; grandchildren, Andrea Dowell, Mimsy Tallent and husband, Jeff, Taylor Hayley, Trevor Hayley and wife, Erin; great-grandchildren, Parker Dowell and Sadie Hayley; a brother, Steve Bankston and wife, Diane of Waco, Texas; and a dear friend, Grace Mbalu of Kansas City, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, her twin brother, Douglas and a brother, Carl.
