Frances Gonzales, age 84, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 in Seymour. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Seymour, with
Rev. Andy Gonzalez and Rev. Roman Gomez officiating. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Gonzales was born March 9, 1928 in Pawnee, Texas. She married Tomas Lopez Gonzales, Sr. on April 16, 1954 in Plainview, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1984. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.

She is survived by five daughters, Maria Blackmon and husband, Perry of Megargel, Texas, Chris Ann Castello of Abilene, Texas, Lupe Becker and husband, Kevin of Aurora, Co., Julie Hudson and husband, D.J. of Seymour, Texas, and Clara Zavala and husband, Frankie of Seymour, Texas; by three sons, Tomas Gonzales, Jr. of Laredo, Texas, Steve Gonzales of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Jesse Gonzales of Abilene, Texas; 29 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, John and Frank Gonzales.

There will be a visitation from 6-7 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
