Glenna Ward Laney, 89, passed away April 23, 2015 in Seymour, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 1 P.M. Saturday, May 9, 2015 in the Chapel of First Baptist Church, Wichita Falls, Texas with
Dr. Howard Chapman officiating. Services are under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Glenna was born December 29, 1925 in Lubbock, Texas, to Edward Glen Ward, and Gertie Jarvis Ward. She married Billy Joe Laney on June 29, 1944 in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was a hairdresser and a Baptist.

She is survived by her husband, Bill of Seymour, Texas; one grandson, Brady Laney and his wife, Lauren of Round Rock, Texas and their children, Ethan Rich and Madelyn Laney; a granddaughter, Brandii Laney of Los Angeles, California; a granddaughter, Rhonada Chagolla of Columbus, Ohio and her children, Abigail, Tretta, Marshall, Steven Jr. and George; a niece, Gena Copeland and nephews, Wade Caussey, Rance Ward, Ray Neil Ward and Charles Ward.

She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Ward Laney on March 2, 2010.
