Helen Jane Kocurek Mobley, 84, passed away April 21, 2016 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ryan Ford of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mobley was born July 24, 1931, in Seymour, Texas to Joe and Eula Bartos Kocurek. She grew up in Seymour, graduated high school and then attended Texas Tech University where she obtained her BA degree. She married Donald Ray Mobley on December 24, 1951 in Seymour, Texas. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2008. She had worked as a librarian and a farmer, and was a member of the Plainview Club of the Texas Extension Education Association.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna Jane Crowell of Harrisonville, Mo. and Hilarie Leah Bramwell and her husband, Robert of Green River, Wyoming; two sons, Byron Paul Mobley and wife, Yani of Rockville, Maryland, and Clayton Drew Mobley of Glenn Heights, Texas; two sisters, Peggy Suggs of Wichita Falls, Texas and Joreen Ludeke of Burkburnett, Texas; and one brother, Joseph Eric Kocurek and wife, Betty of Burkburnett, Texas; her grandchildren, Erica (Robert) Hoffman, Jonathan (Gaezelle) Crowell, Bonnie (Omar) Fernandez, Matthew (Sarah) Crowell,
Michael (Davina) Crowell, and Katie Crowell (Jeff), Amanda (Joe) Romero, Cody (Holly) Bramwell, Alissa (Kyle) Ekdahl, Astrid Mobley, Karina Mobley, Grace Mobley and Kyle Mobley; and her great-grandchildren, Miles, Emma, Jackson, Brooke, Ethan, Hayden, Sage, Griffin, Jordan and Braden.
Visitation will be held at 6 P.M Thursday evening at the funeral home.
