James Leroy Yarbrough, age 77, died peacefully in his sleep on April 29, 2017 in Woodbury, MN.
Jim/Leroy/Tex was born on January 13, 1940 in Benjamin, TX and is survived by his mother Anna Lucille McCanlies (White Settlement, TX); daughters Sandy (William) Rogers (Appleton, WI) and Rita (John) Hinzman (Maplewood, MN); grandchildren Ellie and Joe Hinzman; brother Eddie (Terry) Yarbrough (Canton, TX); and sister Dolores (David) Dikes (Weatherford, TX).
Dad was very proud of his heritage and loved to attend family reunions and enjoyed many winters in Texas living with his mom. Always with a hat and cowboy boots, he loved the outdoors and spent much of his free time hunting, fishing, and enjoying music around the campfire. When we see an eagle soar, we will be reminded of Dad and his connection to nature.
Come celebrate Dad"s life with a visitation at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, May 22 from 10-noon followed by a cemetery service at 1:30 pm in Benjamin, TX. All are invited to join the family for a community sponsored luncheon at The Methodist Church behind the Historical Building following graveside services.
