Jerry Lee Howell, age 75, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 in Seymour. Rosary will be said at 6 P.M. Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11 A.M. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Father Albert Kanjirathumkal and Deacon Jim Novak officiating. Interment will be in the Seymour Catholic Cemetery.

Jerry was born July 25, 1941 in Seymour, Texas, where he grew up and attended schools. He married Jeanelle Kuhler on December 3, 1966 in Seymour, Texas. He was a U.S. Army veteran
and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. He worked for GTE for many years serving as a Maintenance Technician.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanelle of Seymour, Texas; his daughter, Carol Taylor and husband, Travis of Vernon, Texas; a son, Brent Howell and wife, Melinda of Vernon, Texas; and six grandchildren, Thomas Taylor, Caroline Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Logan Swaim, Jaxon Swaim, and Conner Swaim.
