Jonnie P. Ryder, age 85, formerly of Seymour, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Tom Ball, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, Texas, with Deacon Jim Novak and Gene Ryder offiicating. Services are under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ryder was born December 28, 1928 in Seymour, Texas, to R.B. and Callie Stoneman Payne. She married Gerald Ryder on July 26, 1947 in Seymour. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1968. She worked as a nurse's aid and bank teller, and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Rhona Brown of Wichita Falls, Texas, Lanette Terrell and husband, Tommy of Magnolia, Texas, and Holly Oliver of Abilene, Texas; 1 sister, Pawnee Nickerson of Seymour, Texas; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
