Joyce Ann Moody, 79, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday morning, February 13, 2018 after a lengthy illness. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 17, at 11 A.M. at the Henson Cemetery in Red Springs, Texas. A memorial service will be held in Ft. Worth at a later date.

Joyce was born August 21, 1938 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Needom Carroll and Alice Addie Grantham. She was married to Ernest Wayne Moody for 61 years.

They moved to Ft. Worth in 1969. When their three children were teenagers, Joyce fulfilled her dream by going to nursing school and becoming a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked for many years in doctor"s offices, hospitals, schools and children"s summer camps. She also loved babies, and took care of them in the church nursery. She loved giving baby afghans as gifts.

Left behind to cherish her memory are husband, Wayne Moody; children, Alice Butler, Becky Juarez and husband, Israel, Chris Moody and wife, Cathy, and Gloria Moody. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
