Katherine Flores Casillas, 83, passed away Friday, January 8, 2016 in Seymour. Rosary and visitation will be at 6 P.M. Monday at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be at 10 A.M. Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with Deacon Jim Novak and Father Albert Kanjirathumkal officiating. Interment will be in the Benjamin Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Katherine was born February 13, 1932 in Knox City, Texas. She married Simon Casillas on January 29, 1949 in Knox City, Texas. He passed away on July 24, 2000. She was a homemaker, had worked as an inspector at Russell-Newman, and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Ruth Amador and husband, Andrew of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Stella Glass and husband, Troy of Seymour, Texas; one son,
Vince Casillas and wife, Jamie of Archer City, Texas; her sisters, Pearl Casillas of Seymour, Texas, Rosemary Franco of Wichita Falls, Texas, Helen Rodriguez and husband, Connie of Seymour, Texas, Linda Guerra and husband, Harry of Coleman, Texas, Louisa Barton and husband, Teddy of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Lydia Navarrette of Wichita Falls, Texas; her brothers, Ancil Flores of Knox City, Texas, Manuel Flores and wife, Dora of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Billy Joe Flores and wife, Carolyn of Knox City, Texas; her grandchildren, Johnathon Paul Amador, Damian and Aimee Amador, Monty and Nicole Glass, Jason and Tammie Glass,
Alyssa Casillas, Katelyn Casillas, Maci Casillas and Mariah Fletcher; great-grandchildren, Isabella Amador, Hailey and Madeline Glass, Tyler Marak,
Tatum Marak McDaniel, Tanna Marak Robinson, and Karter Jack Richardson;
and great-great-grandchildren, Corbin Marak, Tucker Marak, and Colin Robinson;
and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and by a great-grandson,
Caden Glass on September 28, 2004.
