Lloyd L. Reed, age 88, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 in Keller, Tx. Funeral services 1 P.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Seymour, with Rev. John Hare officiating. Interment will be in the Brushy Cemetery, near Goree, Texas, under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Reed was born December 11, 1929 in O'Brien, Texas. He married Myra Jenette Williams on June 27, 1953 in Goree, Texas. She preceded him in death on June 20, 2011. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seymour, and was a Mason.

He is survived by three daughters, Carla (John) Engels of Greeley, Colorado, Kim (David) Deisher, of Keller, Texas and Robin Shane of Burleson, Texas; eight grandchildren, Stephen (Stacy) Sims, Robby (Lori) Blush, Jamie (Daniel) Lombardelli, Andrew (Sara) Sims, Brittany Deisher, Wesley Deisher, Tyler Shane and Dylan Shane; 9 great-grandchildren, Chandler, Wyatt, Landry, Addison Brianna, Austin, Garhett, Clara and Noah; a brother, George (Nancy) Reed of Conroe, Texas, and a sister, Sarah ( Rev. Wayne) Sharp of Electra, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Donna Kay Sims; brothers, Floyd, Paul and Royce Joe; and sisters, Jewel, Margie, Catherine and Virginia.

Visitation will be held at 6 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
