Mozelle Moore, 85, went to her eternal home on April 13, 2016 in Flower Mound, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Seymour, Reverend Don Chaffin officiating, with internment in the Masonic Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
Born July 19, 1930 in Seymour, Texas, she was the eldest daughter of Grady and Leola Shaw. She was a lifelong resident of Seymour. She married Charles Wayne Moore on January 20, 1950. He preceded her in death on September 26, 2008. She was a loving wife, caring mother and doting grandmother. In later years, she worked at Olney Savings and retired from First American Bank as a branch manager in 1996. She was a great cook, loved to garden and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Seymour until moving to Flower Mound in the fall of 2011 to be closer to family.
She is survived by her son Brent and his wife Teresa of Fort Worth; daughter Brenda and her husband Jim Fullmer of Flower Mound; grandchildren Brandon Moore and his wife Carley of Fort Worth; Krista Moore of Fort Worth and Mackenzie Fullmer of Flower Mound; a great granddaughter expected to arrive in May; and a sister, Paulette Shaw of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Visitation will be 6 - 7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Seymour.
