Neoma Norwood Henderson

Neoma was born in Hefner, Texas on February 4, 1926 and passed away in Burleson, Texas on October 24, 2021.

She was the eighth of thirteen children of James and Celeste Norwood and was a 1944 graduate of Goree High School. She married Jack Henderson January 11, 1947 and they had two children. Her interests included cooking, ceramics, traveling, church and enjoying life. She loved her family and friends and entertaining. She is survived by her son John Henderson and wife Jane of Temple, Texas and daughter Pat Hensley of Burleson, Texas. She has six grandchildren Heather Hensley, Michelle Perry, James Hensley, Aaron Henderson, Nathan Henderson, and Ethan Henderson, seven great grandchildren with the eighth one on the way and two great great grandchildren, her brother Bill Norwood of Graham, Texas, sister Lillie Etta Webb of Bennington, Oklahoma, sister-in-law Wanda Norwood of Bridgeport, Texas, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Mom was dearly loved and will be missed by many and will forever live on in our hearts.
