Norman Denton Gooding
(Denny)


Denny was born January 5, 1974 in Seymour, to Patricia Cook and Clay Gooding. He Passed away on April 25, 2022 in Seymour Hospital.
Denny graduated in Seymour in 1992 and went to work in Vernon at the State Hospital. He later moved to McKinney and worked at WalMart. Several years later, he moved back to Seymour to be closer to family.
He was a funny man and we considered him to be a computer nerd. He loved electronics. Denny loved all of his family. He was one of a kind. Denny will be dearly missed by his family and mother. Denny always gave his mother a hard time.
Denny is survived by his mother, Pat Gooding and father, Clay Gooding. He is also survived by his Uncle Denton V. Cook, Jr. and Aunt Stella. He is survived by first cousins: Jamie Cook, Tamie Estrada, Christy Stone, Cindy, Sheree, Anthony, Milton & Misty. Denny is also survived a host of third cousins.
Denny is proceeded in death by Nanny & Papa Cook, Perd & Mop Gooding, Uncle Donny, Aunt A, Aunt Susie and Uncle Bill.
Memorial Service will be a Graveside, May 7th at 2:00 PM in Riverview Cemetery.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
