James "Pete" Jackson, 80, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at his home.  (James) Pete was born in Weatherford, Texas to John William Jackson and Sadie Komus.  He married the love of his life, Reba Jean Jackson, September 19, 1964.

He served in the Army and then worked as a truck driver and also did some work in the oilfield.  He went on to retire from truck driving.  He loved watching his wrestling and watching western shows.  He was a good man and although he could be stubborn, he always had a sense of humor.

Survivors include his wife Reba and 3 children, Bronco Jackson and his wife Terry; Tonya Frazier and her husband David; and James (Rowdy) Jackson Jr.

James "Pete" was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Sadie and his grandson Kyle Jackson.

He will be laid to rest at the Megargel Cemetery.
