Ralph E. Jones, 94, passed away June 1, 2020 in Seymour. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Chad Stubblefield officiating Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Ralph was born March 10, 1926, in Seymour, Texas. He married Wilma Crouch on October 30, 1948 in Seymour. She passed away July 5, 2007. He was a truck driver for A.J. Ballerstedt, Lawrence Harmel and Bob Young. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Ralph made regular trips to the casinos, and enjoyed drinking coffee with his bunch at the Maverick Caf".


He is survived by two daughters, Vicky Brasher and husband, Mike of Seymour, Texas, and Nena Odell of Seymour, Texas; two granddaughters, Chasity Baker and Lacy Hampton; six great-grandchildren, Laramey and Jeremy Sturgeon, Joshua Brasher and Ray Pope, Justin and Brandon Gibson and by 8 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma; by two grandchildren,
Bobby Brasher and Teresa Stugeon; his parents, Percy and Emmie Biggerstaff Jones, and by one sister, Marjorie Townsend.
