Robert Kevin "Rob" King, 59, passed away August 24, 2016 at his residence in Weatherford. Christian Wake Services will be held at 7 P.M. Friday at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Seymour with Father John Perikomalayil, Father Albert Kanjarathumkal and Deacon Jim Novak officiating. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Rhineland, Texas.

Rob was born April 14, 1957 in Seymour, Texas to Bob G. and Sue Lawson King. He attended schools in Seymour, graduating from Seymour High School in 1975. Following graduation, he attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He married Holly Jungman on November 19, 1976 in Lubbock. He had been in the oil and gas business for 40 years, and was the Director of Operations for Energy Transfer. Following his dreams, he and Holly purchased a racehorse last year by the name of Clearwater Beach, and had spent many hours and days following his progress and watching him race.

He is survived by his wife, Holly of Weatherford, Texas; two daughters, Krystal Wiederhold and husband, Justin, and Laci Brown and husband, Chris, all of Weatherford; a son, Clint Loving and wife, Anna of Weatherford; his parents, Bob G. and Sue King of Goree, Texas; a sister, Kim Decker and husband, Rick of Goree, Texas; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Brooke and Camryn Wiederhold, Grant, Rylee and Ty Brown, and Avery and James Loving; his father-in-law, Alvin Jungman of Seymour, Texas; 4 sisters-in-law, Christy and Kent Bickly, Jackie and Rhea Allison, Marty and Shan Slaggle, and Barbie and Shannon Donnell; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
