Roy Don Jeter, age 81, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Seymour Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, September 29, 2014 at the Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ryan Ford, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Seymour officiating.
Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Roy Don was born August 7, 1933 in Meadow, Texas to Loyd and Pearl Wisdom Jeter. He marrried Jane Petty on January 24, 1959, in Seymour, Texas. He was a fleet manager for Dr. Pepper for many years, and in later years was an independent trucker. He was a US Army veteran of Korea. He attended the First Christian Church, and was a member of the VFW and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Jeter of Seymour, Texas; one daughter,
Mitzi and Merle Frank of Billings, Montana; three grandchildren,
Monica, Whitney and Jacob Frank; and two great-grandchildren,
Aubrey and Lane Marston.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, L.J. and Loyd; his sisters, Ada Lee Walton and Billie Jakubicek; and an infant daughter, Dana Renee Jeter.
