Willie Beamon, Jr., age 55, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Seymour, with Pastor Vernon McTear, Pastor Edward Marks, and Elder Jamie Fowler officiating. Interment will be in the Old Seymour Cemetery, under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Willie was born October 25, 1960 in Seymour, Texas to Willie Beamon and Beatrice Finch Beamon. He worked in Parts Assembly at Precision Remanufacturing Company in Oklahoma City. He was a Baptist.

He is survived by two sons, Bobby Murry and Kyrece Hardeman, both of Wichita Falls; a daughter, Britney Murry of Wichita Falls; his sisters, Bernice Flowers of Mesquite, Texas, Betty Thomas of Seymour, Texas, Alma Sims of Wichita Falls, Clarice Watson of Wichita Falls, Ada Vaughn of Arlington, Texas, Patricia Allen of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Celestine Marks of Wichita Falls, Sharon Fowler of Wichita Falls, and Rosa Smith of Mansfield, Texas; 5 grandchildren,
Juan Murry, Bristaj'ah Foster, Kyrece Hardeman, Kimilli Hardeman, and Shalay Carter; his aunts, Odessa Hicks,
Loraine Alexander and Menthie Finch; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Louis Beamon; his mother, Beatrice Finch Beamon, a brother, John Beamon, and a special aunt, Barbara Bernice Mergerson.

Visitation will be held at 7 PM Friday at the funeral home.
