W.O. "Wayne" McMorris, age 69, passed away Friday, September 30, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday at the Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, with Rev. Ryan Ford, pastor of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Services are under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.

Wayne was born March 5, 1947 in Seymour, Texas, to Winifred O. and Cora Bell Moore McMorris.
He married Vickie D. Barbara on July 27, 1967 in Benjamin, Texas. He was a member of the Church of God.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie of Seymour, Texas; two sons, Troy McMorris and wife, Trudy of Seymour, Texas, and Kenny McMorris and wife, Brooke of Seymour, Texas; 1 daughter,
Robbie Acuna of Wichita Falls, Texas; 1 brother, Mike McMorris and wife, Lynda of Sherman, Texas; 2 half-sisters, Shirley McMorris of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Becky Ford of Howell, Texas; 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Ricky McMorris in 2015.
