Dora Reding
July 16, 1949 - December 24, 2020

Dora Ann Reding left this world to join her sweetheart in heaven on December 24, 2020. She was born to Frank and Joyce White on July 16, 1949. She was born and raised in Haskell, Texas where she met the love of her life, James Allen.

She and James were married on September 14, 1967. They were married 49 years before James death in August 2017.
Together they had two daughters, Tammy and Stacie. Her girls were her pride and joy and she told them often.

Dora had a heart for kids and served many school meals at Seymour Elementary and High School. She always worried about kids having enough to eat and made sure they had seconds. She passed her legacy of service to her girls, raising a teacher and a nurse.

Dora was a devoted nanny to five beautiful grandchildren; Connor, Hanna, Bailee, Lathan and Layne. She always had a fresh batch of chocolate chip cookies waiting for them. She had an infectious laugh and loved making her grandchildren smile.

Dora was a Baptist and loved her Savior. She is survived by a brother, Frank White and wife Diana; a sister-in-law, Jane Reding; two daughters and their husbands who she treated as sons, Tammy and Gaylon McDorman, Stacie and Shayne Owen; and her precious grandchildren, Connor, Hanna, Bailee, Lathan and Layne. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Allen and parents, Frank and Joyce White.

A graveside service is planned at 2:00, Tuesday, December 29th at Willow Cemetery in Haskell, Texas.

Services under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home.
