A Better Place

Thereís a place Iíve never seen
beyond this world we know.
A place Iíve only heard of
but some day hope to goó
--Itís not on any map.
There are no roads to take me there,
But itís a place of perfect peace
Where hearts are free from care.
And though I understand
Some may be saddened
When I leave.
One day we all will meet again-
Thatís what I believeÖ
When itís time to travel there,
I think Iíll wear a smile
Iíll say good-bye to those I love,
But only for a little while.
Knowing there are others
Who have traveled there alone,
Who cannot wait to greet me
And to whisper ďWelcome Home.Ē

May you find peace in the thought that your loved one is in a better place.
