Eddie Charles Elliott, 84 of Seymour, Texas passed Tuesday , August 30, 2022 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 3rd, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, in Seymour, Texas.
Officiating the services will be Pastor Chad Stubblefield. Burial will be in Bomarton Cemetery.
Eddie Charles Elliott was born, December 16, 1937, in Knox County, near Goree, Texas, to Jimmy and Estell Elliott. He graduated Seymour High School in 1955.
He attended classes at MSU in Wichita Falls, Texas. Eddie met Von Sharon Thomas, and they were married on October 20th, 1957. They were married 61 years.
Eddie managed the Seymour Compress and Cotton Warehouse for over 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Helen Evens, his wife Von Sharon Elliott and his daughter in law Sandra Kay Elliott.
He is survived by a son Rickey Elliott and wife Jenni of Iowa Park, Texas, a son Brandon Elliott of Atlanta, Texas, a daughter Keila Wynne and husband Richard of Kingman, Arizona, a son Kerry Elliott and wife Lori, of Queen City, Texas.
Grandchildren, Alyssa Elliott, Alanna Jones, Staci Mathews, Caleb Elliott, Jera Diaz, Kris Wynne, James Wynne, Kim Wynne, Samantha Elliott, and Riley Elliott.
There are 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Seymour Meals on Wheels, Seymour Volunteer Fire Department or Hospice of Wichita Falls.
