Bonnie Mae Haynes
December 18, 1934 - January 21, 2023
Bonnie Mae Haynes Bonnie Mae Haynes, born Bonnie Mae Holly was born December 18, 1934, In Seagraves, Texas. She was the daughter of Burnis Holly and Nadine Rouse Holly. Her Lord and Savior called her home on January 21st, 2023 at the age of 88.
She married Mitchell Grady Haynes on August 2nd, 1952, in Lovington, New Mexico who she was married to for 55 wonderful years. He preceded her in death on April 27, 2008.
Bonnie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Corinth, Texas for many years. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus and willingly shared Him with others when given the opportunity. Most of her life was devoted to raising her children and happily helping with her grandchildren when needed. Her family was a life!
During the early years of their children, Bonnie and Grady were very involved in the community in Memphis, Texas. They played volleyball, baseball and were on a bowling league together. Bonnie was also a Girl Scout Leader at one point.
In the latter days of her life, she loved playing games at Pat and Tracey’s house. She had a competitive soul!
Cherishing her memory are three children, Neddra Lynne Haynes of Ft. Worth, Texas, Patrick Lee Haynes and his wife Tracey of Ft. Worth, and Mitchell Allen Haynes and his wife, Ranay of Denton, Texas. She has seven grandchildren, Tina, Steve and his wife Stephanie, Tiffany and her husband Michael, Toni and her husband Brandon, Maegan, Heather and Crystal. She was blessed with eight great-grandchildren - Jacob, Sarah, Steven, Ty, Jaxon, Everly, Boady and Dalton.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Grady, her parents, sisters Betty Jo, Peggy, LaJean, brother Bob, brothers-in-law Roy Burson and Art Goerlitz.
As a woman of faith, Bonnie wished to have a celebration of the immortality promised to all by Jesus Christ. She would love to be remembered with funny, strange or silly stories that celebrate what was good and blessed in her life. Thank you for coming to help celebrate the remembrance of our mother and Nana.
